welcome to sandaig cottage
a secluded seaside hideaway
Rebuilt from a shepherd's cottage ruin in 1992 and family owned since 1985, the cottage lies on the foreshore of Sandaig Bay in Knoydart. It has 400 acres of land including hills, moorland, woods, burns and waterfalls.
Knoydart is the last wilderness in the British Isles.
The cottage is Off-grid powered off its own Micro-Hydroelectric system.
The cottage accommodates up to six adults and two children in 3 double and 1 twin rooms all overlooking the sea.
It has an open plan kitchen/living space, bathroom, shower room, open plan loft area & boat/woodwork shed.
A Landrover is included, for the 15minute drive from Inverie, the only village on Knoydart.
Prices range from £800 to £1500 per week for up to 6 people.
This is essentially a wildlife sanctuary and several species of bird nest on the ground. For this reason we regret we do not allow people to bring a dog between the beginning of April and mid August
